Another teacher and I recently had dinner at the home of three of my favorite elementary music students. Their mom had baked (and sent me home with) sensational fresh bread, their cook had prepared a terrific Senegalese meal, and their dad provided the music from his varied CD collection (we now trade CDs to share our complimentary musical interests).
